Judith Neilson is a patron, adviser and benefactor to a diverse range of social justice causes in Australia and around the world.

Through her Foundation, she supports organisations working to create a fairer society where everyone has equal opportunities to thrive. Her work has focused the Foundation’s efforts on supporting vulnerable communities in Sub-Saharan Africa and Australia, and on backing innovative solutions for development challenges worldwide. Judith’s charitable work and contribution to the arts were recognised by her appointment as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) and the award of an Honorary Doctorate by the University of New South Wales, in recognition of her philanthropy and role in furthering knowledge of contemporary art.
